One of the central missions of CommonGood Capital is to bridge the disconnect between the growing number of investors wanting to see their investments making a positive impact in the world and wealth managers struggling to incorporate these relatively new ideas into their business strategy. For the past five years, our solution has been to provide a diligenced selection of actionable private impact investments seeking competitive financial returns as well as a meaningful, measurable impact for the common good. Still, there is work to be done in helping advisors understand and execute on the opportunity.
In 2021, we started the CommonGood Collaborative – a collection of 9 RIA’s averaging over $1.25B assets under management all working together with CommonGood to better understand the impact investing landscape, the impact interests of their clients, and to leverage their aggregate demand for access into actionable investment opportunities for their clients. This successful endeavor has led to exciting investment opportunities for the CommonGood platform while also providing participating RIAs the opportunity to network with similarly minded wealth managers, hear from institutional asset managers in the impact space, and provide access to quality investment strategies at lower minimums than typical.
